My floureon bm 800 tends to get a loud buzz when not used for a while. . . And a good old smack literally fixes it. I did this naturally for this sound sample, but i figured it would make an interesting sound to post here. I would very much like to read how you used this sound in the comments, it's fun to see how people use my stuff. Given the cc0 license, you don't have to credit me of course, it is in the public domain after all, but i wouldn't exactly come complaining if you did!.

A few sporadic waterdrops. Just a random sound i've been making with my mouth ever since i was a little kid. At the right volume it's fairly convincing. Anyway, i've been using this site for a while for a few of my own projects and felt it was time to say thank you and give something back. If you can use it for anything, then by all means, feel free. Enjoy.

This is a smoothly rising shepard tone that i created using adobe audition 3's tone generator. I generated the tone as sine waves in 7 different octaves and mixed the results together. The period of repetition is 10 seconds. (this is a second version in which i removed the phase variance, making the sound monophonic for all practical purposes).

I have been in my bathroom, and i started the water running. After i shut it down the faucet started making crazy noises. I than run for my recorder and i have captured that crazy modem-connection type of sound. All happened on 14th of october 2020. You can hear my unstable breath and my dog "focus" (i love him) barking in the background.

Here goes that couple again. This is another day time one so they weren't making as much noises as they usually would. They were going at it for at least 15 minutes and kept it real quiet. Sounds like they didn't really enjoy their pleasure in bed. You can hear the woman curse at her guy. The sex parts are from 2:15-12:45. The clip was shortened and edit with audacity.

Here's my first field recording and first upload on here. I recorded my friend's fireplace in his apartment for a theater production through my college for which i was the sound designer and sound board operator. I used a zoom q3hd with its built-in stereo xy microphones at about a foot or so away from the fire (on the bricks directly encasing the fireplace) with some make-shift baffling around the fireplace (safe, i know). This track is an edited version, a sort of "best of".

This is a digitally synthesized version of the sound produced by current choppers on board the "jeumont element 041/042 train" used in the montreal metro. It is a five-note sequence of tones (90 hz, 120 hz, 180 hz, 240 hz, 360 hz) produced as the train accelerates out of the station. I could not make a recording of the actual jeumont train as the train was scrapped in 2018, which was before i even made my account!.

This sound file incorporates sounds from freesound. Org due to the pandemic at hand and not being able to go out and record these sounds individually. The addresses i chose are sportsman’s park racetrack (cicero) and mission hills golf club. I made a substitution with one sound file that i recorded myself in nature in my neighborhood to incorporate the sounds of a golf course. Although the other file was used from freesound. Org. This piece uses these sounds from freesound: vw golf r, by everydaysounds. Additionally, what can be heard on this file is the sounds of birds chirping and rain falling as well as the sound a fast car speeding around a track to propose some contrast. Something that could spark the listener’s interest is that not often does nature and the machines that we humans make harmonize with each other, but in this i think they flow just fine. Mic set up near the pan while scrambled eggs were cooking. Loopable, this file is 2x. That quarantine mood when you're locked in your house and then ask your housemate, "hey this might sound weird, but can i record you cooking? the sound makes me happy". I dont have a nice mic bc i had to pack up so fast but i have my at2020 which is better than nothing.

An early morning recording made at 7:30am on sunday april 2nd, 2017 in a large field bordered by heavy woods. . . . Beyond the woods is a large lake and, with headphones on, you might be able to hear the sound of boats on the lake. It was sunny, but, a typical cold early spring day. Temp was 43 degrees with a slight breeze making it feel like 37. But, that did not stop the birds from putting on a chorus. Recording made with a sound devices 702 and the amazing, audio-technica bp4025 stereo microphone. Enjoy this shot of nature waking up.

I took a few one-shot samples from a bunch of free packs i downloaded off the net (legally), i gave the kick some subtle crunchy distortion in the high end whilst trying to retain it's core sound and it's punch, i altered the transients and the pitch of the samples to make them pop more and sound more to the point and i placed a coloring compressor on the master to give it a bit more overal volume raise without causing it to clip in a bad way.

Recorded with: zoom h6 "handy recorder" lom úcho (ultrasonic omnidirectional microphone from slovakia!). A pouring of a drink with carbonation (fancy sparkling water). The reason it is monoaural is because it is easier to record singular sources in monoaural without having too much stereo variance in the recording which can if improperly recorded cause clipped audio on one side of the channel (though this reduces the width and dimensionality of a sound sample - this also makes it easier for (independent) game developers and film projects to place the sound.

These small sound clips i made while accompanying friends to make hands-free climbing on a small creek near toconao south of san pedro de atacama. They like to play drums to quench anxiety. Was in october 2012.

This recording was made at the harbour of scheveningen, the netherlands on february 7th around 22. 00 pm.

Ambient file for something that makes you uneasy, on edge. There's something around or near you that might cause a problem. It's something you can't put your finger on but the general weirdness of where you're at gives you the willies. Audacity, macbook pro.

I used one of those blank plastic cds that you sometimes get when you buy cd holders. I broke it up into many pieces and dropped them multiple times adding on the ending to make it sound like the leftover pieces bounce. Sorry about the backround noises, recorded on a laptop with the fan running and a tv in the backround. Came out pretty good though. I was satisfied in the end though.

This is a first attempt to record sound underwater, i build a small hydrophone according to the instruction gave us by digifishmusic, i could probably make it better but all considered i'm pleased whit it. The hydrophone was placed in a small river near where i live, just below the water surface but unfortunately it kept bouncing against the rocks so it's a bit noisy. Enjoy!.

In short time i just found some samples are little "noisy" to the scene, then i decided to make a "silent" one by myself. This is a crusty old tape i found. Field recordings possibly made maybe in the 70's or 80's. The end of the tape is weird i think he recorded a dog panting or maybe its a cat purring but has slowed it down. It sounds cool and i always wanted to use it for something but never quite managed to make it fit.

Needed the exceptionally specific sound of putting an old book into an old hiking backpack. This is that sound. The recording starts with me the backpack off, before placing the book into the backpack and throwing the backpack back over my shoulder. Backpack description:an old-ish (likely 60's) hikers backpack with a metal "seat" that folds out. Made out of wool, leather, metal and the inside is plastic (a thick plastic bag that keeps everything dry). All straps are made of leather and metal that makes a very distinct jangly sound. Book description:this is an 1841 (handled with great care) edition of "hegel's logik" hardcover with a leather spine. *no credit needed, but would love it if you shared your creation, if you use this sound!.

I've spotted two skaters on a pavement and i decided to spend my last few free megabytes on the sounds they were making. The skaters were rolling on a hard pavement made of small square panels. I was trying to make some floaty meditation type music like people use for hypnotherapy and yoga and stuff but accidentally made something fractionally too menacing. To me it sounds like something you might have in the background of a scene where viewer is contemplating an unexpected cosmic vastness or an ancient alien artefact or something otherwise mindblowing but also potentially existentially threatening.

This is an alert signal from a real fire station. I tried to make a sound how they wanted it, and what i believe what was needed. Few things like 1) start softly to ease it when waking up in the night 2) some pauses for better recognition of speech or other signals heard same time 3) good cut trough background noise or whatever, stressless but good cut trough 3) limited length before announcement.

Modular synth patch where two envelopes are involved in a chase. There could have been a rhythm, but i let chaos disturb theharmony. The square wave sounds are "distorted" in a wave rectifier. The kind of patch only an owner to a modular synth findany interest in?do you find any use for some part of this sound let me know!the "ground/root pith" is 122hz. . . Almost a b. . . But not really. I tune my oscillators without caring about "real" tones. The quantizer makes the steps between tones.

It's a recording of wooden door in an old village house getting closed rapidly. There is some overhead silence in this recording to allow making a smooth transision for this sample (fade-in and fade-out), because there is some background noise and little sound of me moving around. I made a good comparison to jacksepticeye's videos and what happens in his house. Took about an hour to make because i was repeatedly adding 250% more gain to the intro(on audio mass) but i added so much that when i downloaded it it came out sounding like just static so i added way less gain. I recommend going to audiomass. Com to try this out if you like.
